Part-Time Bilingual Student Administrator
Location: San Rafael CA 94901
Schedule: 25-hours per week, we are working on obtaining the schedule
Pay: $19 - $21/hr
Duration: 2-4 month temporary assignment
Student Administrators assist with basic administrative functions of our school. They must have good communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to work with a variety of people and meet deadlines. They possess great customer service skills, are able to cross-sell our products, and are responsible for student call-backs and paperwork.
Essential Job Functions
* Serve as the first point of contact to all walk-in students and or potential students.
* Maintain knowledge of all products and services to better serve each student.
* Assist students with applications, bonds, DBA's, Corporations, etc.
* Maintain student records through Customer Management System (CMS).
* Use CMS to track student progress and update with grades, test dates, appointments, follow-ups, class dates, and other necessary data entry.
* Be in constant communication with multiple departments via e-mail or phone.
* Address student concerns, questions, and or conflicts over the phone or in person.
* Ensure student satisfaction by providing quality customer service.
* In charge of keeping an office inventory list and making sure everything is ordered on time.
* Report transactions on a daily basis that will include but not limited to mileage (as needed), inventory, office supplies, cash and check, deposits, etc.
Secondary Essential Job Functions
* Light filing, scanning, faxing, and copying.
* Maintain workplace cleanliness.
* Bank run deposits when needed.
* Provide additional assistance where needed.
Qualifications Required
* Education: High School Diploma or GED
* Skills Set: Must be service-oriented and have a positive attitude. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to type 40 WPM minimum.
* Experience: 3+ years of customer service and administrative experience. Sales experience is preferred.
